Almost everyone I know has had a family member or friend fight the battle of breast cancer. My cousin at 29 yrs. old had a radical mastectomy on both sides and eventually lost the battle. My mother-in-law back in the late sixties had the same surgery and lived into her eighties. When I was in college I had a breast cancer scare. Thankfully what the doctor found was not cancer.

Men, don’t think this doesn’t happen to you as often as it happens to women! Men can get breast cancer too. There are several resources out there for you too! (Here’s one.) Live aware! You guys are important to us gals!
Ladies and gentlemen early detection and screening is important – don’t neglect yourself!
