Counting down to Friday night when my daughter, son-in-law, grandson, and granddaughter arrive! I’m so excited. There are so many things to prepare and do before they arrive.
Today I put up the Christmas tree while hubby was at work. He will hang the lights later this week and we’ll decorate after the kids are here.
Counting down to Friday and decorating!
When the kids were young we’d go to the tree farm and cut our own. One year about 15 years ago we were unable to get out to the farm and I found this impressive artificial tree for $79. Let’s just say we’ve got our monies worth!
Do you put up a Christmas tree? Real or artificial? Are you counting down for something special?

Yes, artificial one these days. Real trees are shipped a long way up and usually don’t last very long. Local trees are pretty scraggly and lose their needles within a very short time.
What a gorgeous tree! We usually do real ones, but this year we have my Mom’s artificial tree and are putting it up again in her honour. Putting her ornaments on her tree helps me remember her and keeps her close.
Have a wonderful season.
Boy are you going to be busy. Enjoy!!

It’s great to have something to look forward to. You are fortunate to have quality family time during the Holidays. Enjoy your grandchildren while you can and make lots of memories
Unfortunately we don’t put up a tree but we do have artificial ones packed away somewhere

Real trees … always 🙂
Either way, though, isn’t it always about the lights? There’s nothing like sitting in a dark room with the tree lights shining. So peaceful!!
