Last May, I issued a call for photos of female motorcycle riders to show the world what we look like. The response was overwhelming, both in terms of the number of photos I received and the number of people who viewed the post.
New Series-Profile of a Female Motorcyclist
This made me think that female riders are still somewhat of a novelty – not to us, but to the vast majority of people – so I’d like to start featuring female motorcyclists! I’ve emailed a few questions to the ladies who responded last year, and I’ll start with those who respond. I’m thinking of posting the profile and any pictures that are submitted at least once a week.
If you are interested in being featured in my new series-Profile of a Female Motorcyclist please leave a comment or fill out the contact form. I’ll grab your email address and send you the questions! Let’s show the world who we are!
I’m so excited to be able to highlight in depth who we are and thank you in advance for participating! Ride Safe.
Ladies, whether you are looking to start riding solo, a casual motorcyclist, a seasoned rider, or enjoying riding pillion you are all welcome to join in the Helmet or Heels community. I would love to share your story in the new series profile of a female motorcyclist no matter where you are on the journey. It will inspire other women along the way.
P.S. I need to get new pictures on my new bike and in my new girly jacket!!
Catch us on Instagram @helmetorheels, Pinterest @helmetorheels or Twitter @helmetorheels – we are just getting started!

Riding my own is the best feeling! Don’t know why I ever waited so long.
Pam, it would be fun to be featured in your blog as I admire you as a blogger. Are you coming out to the AMA Women & Motorcycling Conference this year? That would be a great adventure on your new V-Strom!
I am glad to see you blogging again, and a bit envious of your Vee, as that is one of the couple of bikes I dream of owning. Can’t wait to hear more about your riding adventures on the ‘Strom.
I am glad to see you blogging again, Pam, and that you’ve got an exciting new ride! Three cheers! I will look forward to hearing more about your V-Strom, as that is one of the two bikes that I would like to own as my next (or additional) ride.
I’d love to be featured on your blog, as I admire your blog tremendously. Reading your blog often inspires me to at least think about getting back to my own! Cheers, Liz
Thank you Liz! It’s good to be back. I’ll shoot you an email with the questions!
Demenshea is a dear friend of mine and I saw your blog post about her… great! If you’re still doing profiles of women riders, I would be interested in participating as well! 🙂
I must have missed your comment! Yes. I’d love for you to join in. I’ll email you. Thanks!!
Am thoroughly enjoying reading about other women riders … I see some familiar faces (now I am happy to say I know some famous ladies.) Ride On!
