Thought I’d share a collage of some things that I’ve made. Last year the combination of not riding and expecting a grandson inspired me to create a few things!
When I’m not riding, I make things!
I’ve made a hat for my grandson, crocheted a pair of Chucks for him too, several t-shirt infinity scarves in countless colors, crocheted various winter scarves, crocheted reusable Swifter covers, several pairs of fingerless gloves, an octopus, and a Barcelona soccer jersey (also for my grandson to match his dad’s). Many of items have been given away, sold, or posted on Etsy.com.
What do you do when you’re not riding?
My name is Pam and I am so glad you stopped by today! I started this blog to document my journey into motorcycling and along the way I met so many other lady riders with inspiring stories to tell I began to share theirs as well.
About the same time I started this blog I joined Twitter (@helmetorheels) and began to meet other female motorcycle riders. These ladies were so inspiring to me because I found other newbies like me to life-long experienced riders who were willing to share encouragement, tips, and their friendship. I was welcomed where I was on my journey. What an incredible community I found online to fuel my desire to ride.

Great projects and photo! I’m very jealous since I really don’t have any craft talents.
Queen of Zoom – I may have crafts skills, but your photography skills are awesome!! Love your puppy pictures!
I like to watch other people be productive. That’s kind of productive, right? Seriously though, nice work. Love the Chucks. No fair. Kid’s get all the good stuff.
I’m crocheting while you are guest blogging. I’ll see if I can find a pattern for an adult sized Chucks! They’d make great slippers for the cab.
Pam:
I just noticed you are back. I can say much about knitting, but you sure are talented. :Welcome to the V-strom community and the riding season is just starting
